Commodities Confirmations Sr. Manager Hybrid

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commodities Securities & Derivatives Sr. Manager to join our high‑performing and energized team. This senior‑level position plays a critical role in supporting our Global traders and clients by efficiently processing and monitoring orders and transactions. The successful candidate will lead the Commodities Confirmations team, providing crucial cross‑functional support, training, and acting as a point of escalation for internal and external queries.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to process improvements, minimize operational risks, and enhance client service.

• Work with Legal, Credit, and Trading to draft standard and bespoke trade confirmations as necessary to ensure the document reflects accurate terms of the executed transaction.
• Daily monitoring and handling of ICE eConfirm electronic matching confirmation process.
• Review incoming confirmations from counter parties and discuss any non‑standard clauses with Legal prior to execution.
• Assist with escalations of counter parties for outstanding confirmations not received in a timely manner.
• Handle and resolve internal and external queries and escalations promptly.
• Provide support to Front Office Sales and Trading for all commodities confirmation related queries.
• Develop a technical understanding of Citi trading and confirmation applications and architecture.
• Identify opportunities and recommend creative suggestions for process improvements.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing as necessary to ensure all proposed system releases and enhancements are fit for purpose.
• Ensure procedures are appropriately updated and documented.
• Assist in training team members in operational procedures and best practices.

• 5+ years’ experience in processing and monitoring orders and transactions within a commodities securities and derivatives environment.
• Strong understanding of trading desk operations and confirmation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to provide guidance, assist with training, and handle escalations.
• Proactive approach to identifying issues and recommending solutions for process enhancements.
• Understanding of operational risks and control mechanisms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with traders, clients, and internal teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team‑oriented environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
