Construction Lending Administrator

Cornerstone Home Lending is seeking a motivated individual to join our construction lending team. This individual will work with our construction lending department to communicate with borrowers when the project is near 80% complete through the modification process from construction to permanent phase of the loan when construction is complete.

• Notify borrowers that insurance is in place prior to final draw
• Explain what to expect when it is time for final draw
• Request evidence of insurance
• Balance final loan numbers for construction funds and fees
• Notify and work with LOs to complete the float-down process
• Update spreadsheet with daily tasks completed
• Balance all loans with draws to the weekly servicing spreadsheet
• Request final transactions for balancing with accounting
• Track modification process from final draw processed to executed modification recorded

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to mortgage lending
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to exercise prudent judgment
• Exceptional organization and time-management skills
• Comfortable being a team player
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work through stressful situations professionally
• Attention to detail
