Citi is looking for Full‑Time Analysts to join the Commodities division in Houston, Texas. The Commodities business falls under Citi’s Markets division, and we are a top global Commodities bank. Our capabilities include trading and marketing commodities and commodity derivatives in power, natural gas, crude oil and products, and metals.
Our Full‑Time Analyst program is a highly competitive program that gives you the opportunity to actively participate in risk management, marketing, origination, structured products, logistics or fundamental analysis.
The Analyst Program equips you with the knowledge and training you need to play a valuable role on your team and establish a long‑term career here. You will be placed on the trading floor, working closely with senior salespeople and traders.
We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed.All Commodities Analysts participate in orientation and training when they join Citi. The comprehensive training program is taught by skilled external consultants along with selected professionals with industry and product expertise. Courses taught include oil fundamentals, power fundamentals, natural gas fundamentals, overview of derivative products, option pricing, risk management, and trading simulations.
Your time here will look something like this.You will work on your assigned desk performing a variety of functions, adding more value as you develop. Desk placements may include Corporate Derivatives Sales, East Power Trading, West Power Trading, ERCOT Trading, Natural Gas Trading, Power Fundamentals, Origination, Oil Trading or Structuring.
