Position OverviewManager Transaction Management – responsible for managing and supporting Newrez/Shellpoint’s mortgage purchase, whole‑loan sale, and securitization transactions. This role coordinates multiple complex processes to maximize transaction success and ensure timely closings, manage credit and compliance reviews, and provide loan disposition recommendations.
Principal Duties- Coordinate transaction‑related functions and requirements with internal and external stakeholders (sellers/lenders, investors, broker dealers, vendors, and internal departments).
- Support and deliver loan files to whole‑loan investors and GSEs, including data, loan files, and collateral documentation.
- Manage loan‑review transaction timelines to ensure timely settlement and custodial review within service‑level expectations.
- Evaluate due‑diligence results, assess stipulation validity, make disposition decisions, and resolve issues with sellers/investors/ stakeholders.
- Support and review investor guidelines for competitive analysis and savability.
- Validate and conduct quality checks of required data reports and third‑party vendor deliverables.
- Track and resolve collateral exceptions and certifications with third‑party custodians.
- Build and maintain relationships with sellers, investors, and vendors.
- Provide reporting and analytics on trades, due diligence, and counter parties.
- Perform personnel managerial duties such as goal setting, performance monitoring, coaching, and associate engagement.
- Perform related duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of mortgage‑industry experience.
- Diplomacy and ability to manage relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Effective listening and clear communication of ideas.
- In‑depth knowledge of mortgage banking, secondary markets, whole‑loan transactions, securitizations, and GSE/private investor guidelines.
- Ability to engage individuals and groups to surface essential requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills for negotiation, priority setting, and conflict resolution.
- Analytical skills to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile differing views, and abstract high‑level insights.
