PRICING ANALYST - RETAIL ENERGY | Houston, TX | $ + Bonus

The Role:

An IPP with retail operations spanning PJM, ISONE, NYISO, and ERCOT is hiring a Pricing Analyst to sit inside its Retail Pricing and Supply function. This isn't a back-office modeling seat - you're structuring live deals, owning risk views, and feeding pricing straight to Sales.

• Cost and price retail electricity deals for commercial and industrial clients across four ISOs
• Build usage forecasts from historical load data that directly drive Sales pricing decisions
• Maintain and validate forward price curves for power
• Own price and volumetric risk analysis on every deal you touch
• Validate deal booking and keep costing model assumptions current

• Bachelor's in Finance, Math, or Economics
• 2+ years in the energy industry
• SQL, R, or Python - a real plus, not a nice-to-have
• Sharp Excel skills and the judgment to know when a number looks wrong
• Comfort working fast, under deadline pressure, without sacrificing accuracy
