Vice President Finance

Young private equity backed onshore E&P company located in Central Houston seeks a VP of Finance to join their team. They are seeking someone with five to ten years of total experience to join their team and support their business development, investment analysis, investment execution, financial analysis, budgeting, and operational support efforts. • Responsible for creating the financial models and presentations that are used to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Will run the corporate model.
• Prepare and present the annual budget.
• Support the operations executives with analysis of the results of the operations.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Support the CEO with cash management and other treasury related activities.
• Support the CEO with ad hoc analysis for board presentations.

• Accounting or Finance degree is preferred.
• Requires five to ten years of total experience to include energy investment experience at a private equity firm.
• Prior investment banking experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
• Strong financial modeling experience is required.
• Passion for energy industry investing and operations is a must.
