Handles cash transactions, deposits funds and maintains proper documentation.

• 1. Using computerized on-line inquiry into a financial database,answers questions from students and staff concerning payments.
• 2. Accepts payments, disburses cash refunds, and flags accounts for refund checks.
• 3. Provides copy of statement or bill as requested.
• 4. Accepts general cash deposits, verifies balances, provides copy receipt; disburses departmental deposit bags and accepts departmental deposits.
• 5. Handles petty cash reimbursements in accordance with approved policy limitations.
• 6. Makes vending machine refunds.
• 7. May disburse financial aid checks and departmental refunds.
• 8. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED Required

Department is willing to accept education in lieu of experience.
Department is willing to accept experience in lieu of education.

MQ:
Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions like percentages, ratios, etc. asmight normally be acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or GED. Education verification will be conducted upon acceptance of an employment offer.

No experience is required.

• Banking experience preferred
• Higher education experience preferred
