Senior Financial Planner

A growing, mid-sized wealth management firm in the Houston area is seeking a senior client-facing wealth professional to join its expanding advisory team. This is a newly created opportunity due to continued growth, offering the chance to inherit an established book of high-net-worth client relationships while leading a small advisory team in a collaborative, relationship-driven environment.

This role involves managing and growing an inherited portfolio of high-net-worth family relationships while serving as the lead advisor within a structured client-facing team.

• Manage and grow an inherited portfolio of high-net-worth family relationships
• Serve as the lead advisor within a structured client-facing team, overseeing junior advisory and client service support staff
• Deliver sophisticated financial planning and wealth management advice tailored to client goals
• Build long-term trusted client relationships while supporting the continued expansion of the advisory platform

• 10+ years of wealth management / financial advisory experience working with high-net-worth clients
• CFP designation required (CPA with Series 65 may also be considered)
• Proven experience in relationship management and client-facing advisory roles within a mid-sized wealth management firm, RIA, private bank, or similar environment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Expertise in financial planning and wealth management
