Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance to support financing and strategic growth initiatives for a large-scale, capital-intensive organization. As a key member of the Corporate Finance team, you will play an integral role in evaluating financing alternatives, supporting capital-raising activities, conducting sophisticated financial analyses, and partnering with lenders, investors, and external stakeholders. This highly visible role offers significant exposure to executive leadership and strategic decision-making while also supporting treasury and cash management initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring the rigor, transaction experience, and financial modeling expertise developed within a leading investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate finance environment and will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex, integrated financial models to support financing activities, project development, and strategic decision‑making.
- Analyze and evaluate debt, equity, and hybrid financing alternatives to optimize the company's capital structure and maximize shareholder value.
- Support capital‑raising efforts by preparing financial analyses, presentations, investor materials, and transaction‑related documentation.
- Assist in the execution of financing transactions and strategic corporate initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate development opportunities.
- Participate in due diligence processes involving potential lenders, investors, strategic partners, and acquisition targets.
- Support interactions with rating agencies, including financial model preparation, presentation development, and analytical requests.
- Review and analyze transaction‑related materials, including consultant reports, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), investor presentations, and other financing documents.
- Monitor and analyze interest rate trends, debt portfolios, and financing costs to support funding strategies.
- Assist with treasury and cash management activities, including cash flow reporting, borrowing packages, compliance monitoring, and liquidity planning.
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic analyses and ad hoc projects critical to the company's growth, financing, and value creation objectives.
- 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, Project Finance, Treasury, or related fields.
- Strong preference for candidates with direct investment banking experience and a track record of supporting M&A transactions, capital raises, strategic advisory engagements, and financing transactions
. - Extensive experience building and managing sophisticated financial models, including cash flow forecasting, valuation models, scenario analyses, and transaction modeling.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital structure optimization, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis.
- Experience supporting debt and equity financing transactions and interacting with institutional investors, lenders, and external advisors.
- Proven ability to manage multiple work streams and deadlines in a transaction-driven environment.
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present financial analyses and recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, energy, infrastructure, LNG, or other capital-intensive industries is preferred.
- Project development experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
