Managing the closing department, the full-time Mortgage Closing Manager will oversee staff performance, ensure successful mortgage loan closings, and maintain compliance with lending regulations while working remotely within specified states.
Key responsibilities- Direct day-to-day management, training, and performance reviews for closing department staff
- Interface with title companies, clients, and real estate professionals to facilitate successful closings
- Manage the closing pipeline and ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelors degree preferred - 5 years of experience in mortgage closing
- Management experience in operations
- Understanding of various mortgage products such as FHA, USDA, and Conventional
- Exceptional organizational and customer service skills
