We’re currently looking for a Staff Accountant that can bring their technical accounting and reporting competence, attention to detail, strong work ethic and organizational skills to our team. We are looking for a highly motivated self starter with a positive, results oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will excel in a deadline sensitive environment, consistently delivering efficient and effective outcomes while fostering teamwork across the organization.

This position will be engaged as a member of the corporate accounting, reporting, and planning team and has the potential for professional growth and advancement in the intermediate and long-term future. This role offers the opportunity to further develop accounting and reporting skills, as well as financial planning and analysis skills, in a unique and dynamic industry.

• Process and code accounts payable invoices to support timely and accurate vendor payments
• Review and reconcile AMEX transactions, uploading activity accurately into the accounting system
• Perform general ledger (GL) accounting activities, including account reconciliations, variance analysis, and quarterly expense accruals
• Prepare and maintain amortization schedules for prepaid and capitalized costs, and complete related balance sheet reconciliations
• Track receivables, work-in-process (WIP), and deposit activity for portfolio companies, providing timely financial information to deal teams
• Update interest schedules for monthly ACH payments
• Prepare weekly balance sheet recaps and assist with variance analysis
• Reconcile check run data to vendor records on a routine basis to confirm accurate payment processing
• Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes and contribute to process improvement efforts
• Support SEC reporting activities, including preparation of Forms 10-K and 10-Q
