Houston, TX | Flexible Hybrid Schedule

International consulting firm headquartered in Houston is seeking a Director of Finance & Administration to oversee the company's finance and administrative functions. Reporting to the CEO and COO/Board, this role leads Finance & Accounting, HR, IT, Tax, Legal, Risk Management, Insurance, and Facilities.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead the Finance & Administration team, including accounting staff and IT.

+ Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, AR/AP, invoicing, and expense approvals.

+ Manage year-end reporting and tax processes, coordinating with external tax advisors.

+ Partner with executive leadership on financial, administrative, and risk-related decisions.

+ Oversee contracts, corporate filings, employment documentation, insurance, and benefits.

+ Manage IT strategy, systems, hardware, and software.

+ Evaluate business issues and recommend solutions to senior leadership.:

Requirements

Requirements:

+ CPA required

+ Finance/accounting leadership experience in a small to mid-sized business

+ Net Suite experience required

+ Exposure to HR, IT, tax, legal, insurance, or risk management

+ Strong financial reporting and accounting background

+ Hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage both strategic and day-to-day responsibilities

+ Strong communication skills with executive and Board-level stakeholders
