As a Financial Analyst - Factory Controller supporting the Steam Turbine and Generator business in North America, you will provide financial planning, cost controlling, and performance analysis to help achieve the organization's financial and operational objectives. You will partner closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership to optimize factory performance, monitor costs, support forecasting and budgeting activities, and deliver meaningful financial insights that drive informed business decisions.
Your work will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong cost controls, and continuous process improvements across the manufacturing organization.
- Lead factory controlling activities by maintaining standard costs within the ERP system, performing annual cost revaluations, analyzing standard-to-actual production costs, and ensuring accurate product costing and financial reporting
- Analyze manufacturing and operational performance by monitoring labor, material, overhead, yield, absorption, inventory, and departmental spending variances against budget and forecast while providing actionable recommendations to improve business performance
- Manage inventory controlling processes, including inventory reserve calculations, cycle count controls, safety stock analysis, inventory valuation, and financial oversight to ensure accurate inventory reporting and compliance with company policies
- Support financial planning activities by leading annual budgets, monthly forecasts, financial modeling, capital project reporting, general ledger analysis, and performance reporting to improve financial transparency and decision-making
- Partner with business leaders across New Unit, Service, Manufacturing, and Operations organizations to evaluate financial performance, challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that optimize cost and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance financial processes, strengthen internal controls, improve reporting capabilities, and deliver high-quality financial analysis that supports strategic business objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business
