Akkodis is seeking a VP Structured Debt Operations – Structured Debt / CLO for a Direct Hire position with a client located in Houston TX (4 days hybrid). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.
Pay Range: $120,000K to $150,000K annually + benefits.
VP Structured Debt Operations – Structured Debt / CLO job responsibilities include:- Act as a primary point of contact for external clients, resolving complex day-to-day operational issues related to structured debt and CLO transactions.
- Support clients in addressing and resolving complex operational, reporting, and technical issues, ensuring timely and accurate execution of client requests.
- Coordinate across internal Client teams to route inquiries, manage escalations, and deliver effective solutions.
- Provide assigned clients with information related to Client products and services across multiple lines of business and geographies, leveraging a strong understanding of Client broader platform.
- Produce, review, and deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc client and investor reports for CLO and structured debt transactions.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting outputs, including cash flows, distributions, positions, and performance-related data.
- Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies, reconciliations, and data breaks in partnership with internal operations and technology teams.
- Support reporting enhancements, automation initiatives, and evolving client requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; MBA preferred.
- 7–10 years of total work experience, with at least 3 years of people management experience preferred.
- Experience in client service, operations, and/or reporting within financial services strongly preferred.
- Strong background in Structured Finance (ideally CLOs), Fund Administration, and/or Alternative Asset Management strongly preferred.
- Client Service/Operations experience within financial services strongly preferred.
- Corporate Trust background preferred.
- Proven experience engaging institutional clients to deliver against service obligations and support revenue growth.
- Strong data analysis, reporting oversight, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to review results versus expectations.
- Experience managing teams of 7+ employees strongly preferred.
