Our client is building the infrastructure backbone of the AI era, developing large-scale, purpose-built data center campuses engineered for hyperscale computing. With committed capital, campuses in active development, and ambitious growth plans, the business requires a disciplined and sophisticated capital markets function.
Our client is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to lead relationships with the investors supporting its growth. As the business expands across multiple campuses and financing structures, its investor base will grow in size and complexity—spanning institutional equity, project finance, corporate debt, and potentially the public markets.
This executive will shape how the company communicates its strategy, reports its progress, and earns investors’ confidence. It is a company-defining opportunity to build the capital narrative and investor relations function of a rapidly growing infrastructure platform.
The RoleReporting to the President and working closely with the CEO and CFO, the Head of Investor Relations will serve as the primary bridge between our client and its investors.
The successful candidate will own the investor narrative, reporting strategy, and relationships across the capital stack. They will translate operational progress into a clear and credible investment story for equity investors, lenders, and rating agencies while establishing the reporting systems and disclosure practices needed to support future fundraising and growth.
Key Responsibilities Investor Narrative and Positioning- Own and continually refine the company’s equity story and investment thesis as its portfolio, financing structures, and market conditions evolve.
- Develop messaging, presentations, supporting data, and other materials for each stage of capital formation.
- Position the company within the competitive landscape of infrastructure, data center, and AI platforms.
- Partner with the President, CEO, and CFO on board presentations, investor updates, and capital markets communications.
- Support equity and debt raises from initial preparation through closing, including materials, data-room management, diligence coordination, and investor inquiries.
- Build and maintain the diligence infrastructure required to act quickly when financing opportunities arise.
- Coordinate with the CFO, outside counsel, and financial advisors during active transactions.
- Maintain the fundraising pipeline and track relationships with existing and prospective investors.
- Own the cadence and quality of investor reporting, including quarterly updates, capital‑deployment reporting, and key infrastructure metrics.
- Connect operational progress—including campuses under construction, megawatts contracted, and capital deployed—to the financial outcomes investors are underwriting.
- Manage investor communications between formal reporting cycles and respond to inquiries regarding material developments.
- Establish disclosure standards and information controls appropriate for future engagement with debt and public markets.
- Serve as the day‑to‑day relationship lead for institutional investors and private equity stakeholders.
- Build relationships with prospective investors, lenders, and rating agencies ahead of future capital requirements.
- Manage rating‑agency engagement as the company approaches larger debt facilities.
- Represent the company at investor meetings, roadshows, and industry conferences.
- Monitor capital markets activity across the data center, AI, and broader infrastructure sectors.
- Track comparable financings, valuation benchmarks, public‑company performance, and investor sentiment.
- Incorporate relevant market intelligence into capital planning and positioning decisions.
- Build the investor relations function, including the systems, processes, reporting infrastructure, and future team.
