Investigative Specialist I
First Community is looking for an Investigative Specialist I for our Copperfield headquarters (NW Houston). Responsibilities can include reviewing and monitoring multiple internal and external reporting systems to assist in identifying potential suspicious activity and/or Bank Security Act (BSA) violations. Additionally, assisting branches and back office departments on all matters relating to potential fraud and escalating all findings to management for review and further action.
Will also monitor account activity and perform analysis to detect and prevent possible fraud and manage alert lists generated by fraud detection software daily. Expected to conduct research and make recommendations to file SARs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
High School Graduate or GED equivalent or equivalent work experience - Experience:
One to three years of fraud investigations, risk management, or related experience. Financial services, banking, or credit union industry experience preferred
