DescriptionSummary:
The Senior FP&A & Finance Transformation Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and actionable financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and executive reporting while driving finance transformation, process improvement, and reporting automation initiatives. This role partners with Finance leadership, Accounting, Shared Services, Operations, IT, and executive stakeholders to improve financial visibility, reporting effectiveness, system utilization, data integrity, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in financial planning and analysis, executive reporting, project leadership, financial systems, and continuous improvement, with the ability to independently lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes, including consolidation, analysis, financial modeling, scenario analysis, performance metrics, and preparation of management presentations and reporting packages.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reporting packages for executive leadership and support Board reporting requirements, strategic initiatives, and time-sensitive analyses as needed.
- Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, EBITDA, cash flow, working capital, trends, variances, and key business drivers to identify risks, opportunities, performance trends, and actionable business insights.
- Validate data accuracy, investigate reporting anomalies, and ensure the integrity, consistency, completeness, and governance of financial information, reporting definitions, financial models, and executive reporting.
- Lead Finance and Accounting process improvement initiatives focused on automation, standardisation, control enhancement, data quality, operating efficiency, reduced manual effort, and scalable reporting processes.
- Translate business and Finance leadership objectives into project plans with defined scope, milestones, timelines, risks, responsibilities, success measures, and stakeholder accountability.
- Manage projects from current-state assessment and requirements gathering through solution design, testing, implementation, training, change management, adoption, and post-implementation support.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and stakeholder engagement to drive alignment, accountability, issue resolution, momentum, and successful project execution.
- Develop and maintain process maps, standard operating procedures, business requirements, testing documentation, training materials, project documentation, and other materials needed to support implementation and ongoing process ownership.
- Measure, track, and communicate project outcomes, adoption levels, efficiency gains, performance improvements, and realized business benefits.
- Partner with the One Stream System Administrator, IT, and other technology resources to develop, enhance, maintain, troubleshoot, and deploy financial reports, dashboards, workflows, automation solutions, and system enhancements.
- Serve as a backup resource for selected One Stream administration activities and assist with reporting maintenance, metadata updates, governance, upgrades, validation, deployment, user support, training, and ongoing enhancement of financial system capabilities.
- Develop and maintain standardized reporting tools, dashboards, KPIs, templates, and reporting solutions using One Stream, Power BI, Excel, ERP data, and other reporting platforms.
- Act as a liaison between Finance stakeholders and technology teams for reporting, automation, financial systems, process improvement, system implementations, acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with Accounting, Shared Services, Operations, Corporate Finance, IT, executive leadership, and other stakeholders to support business objectives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, CMA, PMP, or other relevant professional designation preferred.
