Government Relations Manager

A fast-growing space robotics and planetary mobility company is hiring a Government Relations Manager to support government partnerships critical to upcoming lunar surface missions. This is a hands‑on role in a high‑pace environment, focused on building and strengthening relationships with U.S. government stakeholders, supporting capture activity, and ensuring compliant delivery across government‑facing programs.

• Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and agencies (starting with NASA)
• Identify and pursue new government business opportunities, working closely with leadership and technical teams
• Support government contracts and ensure compliance with applicable requirements and processes
• Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and engagements with government officials
• Track policy and legislative developments that could impact programs, funding, or timelines
• Coordinate internal inputs for proposals, reports, and required documentation
• Provide government relations and policy guidance to senior leadership

• 5+ years in government relations, government BD, policy, or a closely related field
• Strong understanding of government processes and regulations, ideally within aerospace, defense, robotics, or deep tech
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Evidence of building and maintaining relationships across government entities, ideally with an existing network
• Organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
• Able to work independently while partnering closely with cross‑functional teams
• Genuine interest in exploration and enabling lunar surface operations
