We are seeking a Sr. Advisor, FERC / Regulatory to join our team that will serves as the subject matter expert and regulatory authority supporting project development, permitting, and compliance activities. The position will report to our Director, Permitting and will be located on-site in greater Houston.‑matter

- Provide senior regulatory leadership and strategic direction for FERC jurisdictional LNG, natural gas, and related infrastructure projects.
- Oversee and mentor the Project Manager, FERC / Regulatory, ensuring effective execution of regulatory and permitting work streams across all project phases.
- Serve as the primary internal advisor on FERC policy, regulatory strategy, and compliance obligations impacting project development and operations.
- Guide FERC pre filing, application, environmental review, and post authorization compliance activities.
- Review, advise on, and provide quality assurance for FERC filings, environmental reports, responses to data requests, and compliance submissions.
- Lead regulatory risk identification, escalation, and mitigation planning to support project timelines and investment decisions.
- Act as a senior point of contact with FERC, cooperating agencies, and other federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate closely with legal counsel on regulatory strategy, interpretation of orders, and responses to regulatory actions or enforcement matters.
Education, Certificates, and Licenses:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, environmental oversight, or related functions within the energy, LNG, oil & gas, or industrial project sectors.
- LNG experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or managing FERC regulated projects and environmental review processes.‑regulated projects and environmental review processes.
- Strong background in regulatory risk management, compliance governance, audit readiness, and response to inspections or enforcement actions.
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive regulatory and compliance matters.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage documentation, schedules, and reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder regulatory projects with competing deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage constructively with regulatory agencies, external stakeholders, and internal leadership.
