Joining Customs & Border Protection (CBP), Administrative Services Division, will allow you to serve as a Senior Advisor to management assessing the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of human capital efforts resolving complex problems related to position management, staffing and placement, performance management, awards, and worker's compensation. This position starts at a salary of $ (GS-13, Step

Major Duties:
Collaborating with other internal and external staff to ensure the successful implementation of Workforce Care tasks and adherence to internal and external requirements. Serving as a "gatekeeper," the incumbent helps to develop and nurture relationships both internal and external to the Directorate, requiring excellent interpersonal skills. Identifying, recommending, and demonstrating effective methods and techniques for managers and supervisors to use in improving information flow and assignments with Division Leadership in day to day requests.
Establishing and maintaining a strong working relationship with a variety of program officials at Headquarters, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard, and that leadership is kept informed of progress and any potential issues.

Experience GS‑13:
You qualify for the GS‑13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
Developing and establishing uniform functional process improvement methods and tools in all functional areas of an organization. Preparing and drafting briefs, reports, and other materials that inform leadership decision‑making. Analyzing major administrative aspects of substantive, mission‑oriented programs.
