Blushington is Hiring Now for our founding team of Makeup and Hair Artists. We have part time shifts available on Saturdays, Sundays and some weekdays.

• Training. Blushington Hair Artists will go through 5 days of blow dry, and dry styling training. Makeup Artists will go through 5 days of Makeup and Skincare training. Artists must demonstrate mastery of all Blushington Signature looks, and add on services, as well as proper sanitation in accordance with state regulations, and Blushington standards..
• Training and Education. Blushington Artists are required to attend all mandatory staff meetings, vendor trainings, and bi-monthly workshops.
• Performance. Blushington Artists are required to participate in weekly touch bases a quarterly one one one performance evaluation with his/her store Leadership Team.
• Sanitation. Blushington Artists are responsible for maintaining the highest levels of sanitation in all areas of the stores. Hair Artist must comply with state regulations as well as Blushington standards as it relates to blow dry stations, sinks, and tools. Blow dry stations will be subject to inspection at the end of each shift by a member of the store Leadership team.
• Customer Service. Blushington Artists are expected to provide 5 Star Customer Service to all Blushington clients, by performing all Blushington services expertly, and following the Steps of Service as outlined in the training manual, as well as educating and suggesting the “Just Right” products for the client to purchase and take home.
• Marketing. Blushington Artists are required to participate in company wide marketing initiatives at the request of the Leadership Team.
• Sales and Service Goals. Blushington Artists will be responsible for reaching or exceeding sales and service goals as set forth by the store Manager. Hair Artists will participate in in-store contests, as well as all current promotions.
• Confidentiality. It is terminable for any Blushington Artists to solicit their services to Blushington clients outside of Blushington approved events, or at home services. Artists must never give out their personal contact information, or obtain client information for the purpose of performing services.
• Social Media. Blushington Artists are strongly encouraged to post on social media, provide content for the Blushington marketing Team, and to tag @blushington.
• Reporting. Blushington Artists are responsible for accurately reporting all working hours, whether the hours worked are in store, rest and meal periods, at home services, or Blushington events.
• Downtime. Blushington Artists are responsible for completing assigned downtime tasks during downtime at the request of the Manager, Assistant Manager, or training team.
• Cleaning. Every Blushington Team member is responsible for the cleaning of the store to ensure an immaculate environment.
• Community. Blushington Artists are expected to have a positive, encouraging, and courteous demeanor in the store and at all events.

• Texas Cosmetology License (Required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including blowouts and Updo's
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and color theory
• Experience with salon software such as MINDBODY, Zenoti, or Boulevard
• Ability to mentor junior stylists and manage retail sales effectively
• Familiarity with makeup application
