Overview

Aesthetician

Location:

The Woodlands, TX. Job Type: Part-Time. Compensation: commission-based with a $30 per hour guarantee.

Start Date:

ASAP.

Schedule / Availability
  • Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) regularly.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 days available to work per week, with one of those days on a Friday or Monday (both highly preferred).
  • Must be available to work during clinic operating hours (as posted on website, subject to change).
  • You will be scheduled for 11 hours, with 10 hours of work after breaks.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 1 day per week and typically work 1–2 days per week; may work up to 3 days per week.
  • You must be able to commit to a schedule made 60 days in advance.
Responsibilities

Treatment Delivery

  • Perform non-invasive treatments, including laser therapies, under medical protocols and company standards.
  • Assess client eligibility for treatments by reviewing medical history and obtaining informed consent.
  • Administer treatments with precision, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client treatment records in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.

Client Education and Experience

  • Educate clients on benefits, risks, and expected outcomes of treatments and post-treatment care.
  • Build trust and rapport with clients to ensure they feel informed about their care plan.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and address client concerns promptly and professionally; escalate as needed to medical or clinic leadership.

Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the clinic team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clinic staff to ensure seamless client care and operations.
  • Support clinic goals by promoting additional services, skincare products, or treatment packages.

Safety and Compliance

  • Follow safety protocols and infection control standards; comply with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, reporting issues to clinic leadership.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices through continuing education.

Occasional Tasks

  • Participate in training sessions to learn new treatments or technologies.
  • Assist with special events or promotional activities to support client acquisition and retention.
  • Provide mentorship or guidance to new staff as needed.

Support for the Team

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory checks and restocking treatment supplies.
  • Support other team members during peak times or staffing shortages.

Contributing to Broader Goals

  • Collaborate with clinic leadership to provide feedback on treatment protocols and client needs.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to ensure high standards of care and service.

Travel and Flexibility

  • Travel is not required but may occasionally involve supporting nearby locations during peak times or events.

In-Person Presence

The role is on-site and requires strong presence during assigned shifts to lead operations, engage with clients, and support the team.

Qualifications

License and

Certifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Aesthetician license in the state of employment.
  • Laser Certification as required by state regulations.

Physical

  • Role involves long periods of sitting and standing; ability to lift and move inventory and clinic assets.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with appointment scheduling platforms or comparable tools.
  • Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, customer service, or sales.
  • Continued education in aesthetics or skincare preferred.
  • Prior clinical or aesthetic setting experience preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of skin types, treatment indications, and pre/post-care requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinic staff and uphold safety and high standards of care.
