Epic Clinical Systems Analyst III ensures that the operational interests of their respective functional areas are fully represented in the day‑to‑day operations of the Information Systems Department. This role supports the Epic Clinical applications deployed within the Harris Health System.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Clinical Informatics, or 4 years of related IT experience in a healthcare environment.
- Certification in at least one Epic Clinical Application.
- 5+ years of experience in IT.
- 3+ years of business analysis in hospital health‑care organization settings.
- Excellent verbal communication, heavy public speaking, and advanced writing/composing skills.
- Analytical, design, research, and statistical skills.
- Be available to work on site after hours as required.
- Experience providing hands‑on clinical patient care in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
- At least 1 year of Epic Project and/or Epic Team Lead experience preferred.
- Healthcare Information Technology experience.
- Ability to recommend process improvements based on industry standards and resolve integrated process issues.
- Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines.
