Are you passionate about enhancing healthcare services and driving operational excellence in a vibrant clinic-based environment? As an Operations Manager focused on Vision at Legacy Community Health, you will be at the forefront of healthcare innovation, streamlining processes, and expanding patient access in our Montrose Clinic (1415 California St, Houston, TX 77006).

- Collaboration:Work closely with a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to making a difference in the healthcare ecosystem.
- Supervise support staff to ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.
- Manage work schedules, including PTO and leave, ensuring adherence to Legacy's attendance policy.
- Provide coverage for support staff as needed to maintain continuity of care.
- Offer EPIC and EHRS training and support for staff, becoming an expert super-user.
- Promote a culture of feedback and collaboration, encouraging participation from peers, providers, and staff.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and evaluating staff members to build a robust team.
- Conduct performance reviews and manage coaching/disciplinary actions for direct reports.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to develop service line-specific reports.
- Manage waitlists, and coordinate locum and per diem provider coverage in collaboration with site leadership.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications/licenses preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a healthcare setting or service industry.
- A Master's degree in business or healthcare operations may substitute for 2 years of experience.
- At least 2 years experience in administration and supervision of staff is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHRS is a plus.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
