Registered Nurse; RN), Inpatient - OB Float Pool Flex Team; Nights

Position: Registered Nurse (RN), Inpatient - OB Float Pool Flex Team (Nights)
We are searching for an OB Float Pool Nurse! - someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this position, you'll provide quality nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age appropriate care in a manner that incorporates family centered principals and cost effective care.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or other nursing degree with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement

Licensure &

Certifications:

* Current Texas Board of Nursing or Nurse Licensure Compact license

* BLS certification required (American Heart Association)

Experience:

* Minimum of 9 months of professional nursing experience

Skills & Abilities:

* Demonstrates positive and appropriate interpersonal skills

* Strong time and resource management abilities

* Demonstrates flexibility, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Knowledge of unit-specific equipment and the nursing process

* PALS certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* 4+ years in women's services

* Experience on OB Triage, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum

* High-Risk Women's Services (including GYN and antepartum OB patients)

* Mother/Baby Unit (Couplet Care)

* Newborn Transition Nurse (providing care to newly delivered newborns)
