As a Certified Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll be a vital part of a highly‑skilled team that shares in your passion for cardiac surgery. • Plan for and scrub assigned surgical procedures in accordance with AORN, AST, quality, regulatory, and company standards.

• Participate in on‑call rotation based on the need of the department.

• Operate the sterilizer and other patient care equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions after proper training.

• Promote hospital processes and goals, and communicate issues, whether actual or potential, to appropriate person in the chain of command.

• Takes initiative in performing other duties, whether assigned or not, such as assisting with updating surgeon preference cards, pulling case carts, stocking rooms, turnover the OR, and assisting with scheduled supply inventory.
