Ophthalmic Photographer

We are partnering with a well-respected ophthalmology group in Houston to help them add a skilled Ophthalmic Photographer to their team. • Pay: $21–$25 DOE
• Onsite in Houston, TX
• Must be open to floating to neighboring clinics
• Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–6:30 PM (8-hour shift)
• Dress code:
  Scrubs
• Contract-to-hire; 800-hour contract

• Perform a comprehensive range of clinical imaging, including fundus, anterior segment, and external photography
• Conduct advanced angiographic procedures such as IVFA and ICG, as directed by the physician
• Operate sophisticated diagnostic imaging equipment such as OCT and HRT
• Ensure all legal requirements, including obtaining informed consent, are met prior to testing
• Process, label, and regularly back up digital databases and physical film
• Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper functionality
• Track and maintain supply inventory
• Maintain accurate patient and workload records
• Curate visual assets for professional medical presentations
• Assist with additional duties as needed

• 2+ years of experience in ophthalmic photography
• Experience with retina imaging, fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, Heidelberg OCT, and Optos
