Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and active RCIS and BLS certifications for a Level I Trauma Cardiac Cath Lab assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care Level I Trauma setting with 719 beds
- Assignment is in the Cardiac Cath Lab, covering EP, IR, and Cath Lab cases
- Unit consists of 11 labs handling 40-50 cases per day
- Shifts are primarily day shifts, starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM, with 8, 10, or 12 hour shift options
- On-call rotation includes 3-5 days per month with at least one weekend per month
- Epic is the charting system used and experience is required
- Technologists will assist in EP, IR, and standard cardiac catheterization procedures
- Team collaborates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Orientation includes 12 hours of training
- Monthly and daily parking options are available for a fee
- Returning candidates must not have been employed by Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year as direct employees
- Local candidate eligibility and radius requirements vary by state
- Minimum of 2 years recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI required
- Active state or compact licensure required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
- Copy of valid driver’s license required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from the last 12 months and another peer or supervisor reference from the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
