Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist Assistant at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers Copperfield in Houston, TX. The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for providing patient care, rehabilitation, quality patient care, and orthopedic/neurological treatments on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
- Assist patients with physical exercises, stretching, and activities to improve strength, coordination, and mobility.
- Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on exercise techniques, injury prevention, and home care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting (not required)
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
