School Psychologist – $57/hr – Houston, TX – 15-Week Assignment (Part-Time Evaluations Only)

The School Psychologist provides on-site psychological services to students, supporting mental-health, behavioral, academic, and developmental needs. This role focuses heavily on completing evaluations and assisting in eligibility determinations for special education services. The School Psychologist collaborates with school teams to ensure students receive appropriate supports and interventions.

Pay Rate: $57/hour (local)

Modality:

Openings: 1 position

• Evaluations-only role
• Must complete at least 1 evaluation per week (typically 2–4 per month)
• Duties include assessments, report writing, and participation in eligibility meetings
• High likelihood this position may shift to per-evaluation pay structure
• Virtual interview required
• No classroom instruction component

• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations for referred students
• Perform observations, interviews, records reviews, and standardized testing
• Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility discussions
• Provide recommendations for interventions and supports
• Document evaluations and maintain compliance with state and district standards
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families

• Active LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) or equivalent state-required license
• Master’s degree in psychology preferred
• Experience with pediatric/adolescent populations preferred
• CPR, TB screening, and health certificate if required
• Must meet state, federal, and local guidelines
• Must be at least 18 years old
