Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Level II (preferably) Ultrasound Technician, specializing in OB/GYN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations focused on maternal-fetal medicine, providing critical imaging services to support obstetric and gynecological care. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques, combined with excellent patient care and communication skills.
The Ultrasound Technician-OB/GYN will contribute to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, ensuring a high standard of patient safety and comfort.
- Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations, including fetal assessments, anatomy scans, growth scans and gynecological imaging, (i.e. Fibroids,Pcos,Kidney,etc)
- Utilize sonography equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring proper documentation of findings
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret images and assist in diagnosis.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and cleaned according to safety standards.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and OB/GYN practices through ongoing professional development.
- Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technician with specialization or significant exposure to OB/GYN or maternal-fetal medicine imaging.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to obstetrics and gynecology.
- Proficiency in sonography techniques, medical imaging software, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Prior experience working in a healthcare environment emphasizing patient care and safety is preferred. Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
License/Certification- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Preferred)
