ABOUT

THE ROLE

Our Client is seeking a dependable and personable Front Office Administrator to join their healthcare team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and billing functions while providing excellent service to patients and supporting the medical team. The ideal candidate will combine business acumen, technical proficiency, and a polished, professional demeanor.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Register patients and verify that demographic and contact information is accurate and current
  • Answer incoming phone calls and schedule new and follow-up appointments
  • Check and manage the clinic’s email inbox, forwarding messages to appropriate physicians as needed
  • Send messages through the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system (Practice Fusion)
  • Copy, scan, and upload documents into the EHR system
  • Assist with billing, payments, and accounts receivable functions
  • Coordinate appointments for therapy and medical services, including patient referrals
  • Greet and assist patients while ensuring a positive front-office experience
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Experience with billing, administrative support, and front desk management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Exceptional organization, punctuality, and reliability
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in a medical or healthcare office environment
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ideally Practice Fusion
  • Background in accounts receivable or patient billing
  • Customer service experience in a high-volume office setting
