We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join a patient-centered imaging team in Houston, TX. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity in an outpatient setting, offering regular weekday hours, excellent benefits, and a supportive work environment focused on quality care and diagnostic excellence.
As a Mammographer, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards, providing outstanding service and comfort to every patient.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform screening and diagnostic mammograms using digital and/or 3D mammography equipment.
Ensure accurate image acquisition, positioning, and exposure techniques.
Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and maintain a compassionate, professional manner.
Assist Radiologists during breast imaging procedures, including biopsies as needed.
Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and ensure compliance with MQSA and ACR standards.
Support a safe and efficient workflow in a collaborative outpatient imaging environment.
Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Certification: ARRT (R)(M) required; current BLS certification preferred.
Licensure: Valid Texas Medical Board (TMB) license as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent mammography experience preferred; proficiency with 3D/tomosynthesis equipment strongly desired.
Compliance: Meets MQSA requirements, including continuing education and case documentation.
