Responsibilities

As a Vascular Technologist, you will use ultrasound and other non‑invasive diagnostic tools to evaluate blood flow, detect vascular abnormalities, and assist in diagnosing conditions related to the circulatory system. You will provide accurate vascular imaging in a variety of clinical settings.

  • Conduct vascular ultrasound exams including carotid, arterial, venous, and abdominal studies
  • Use Doppler technology and ultrasound equipment to assess blood flow and identify vascular conditions
  • Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort during exams
  • Identify and document normal and abnormal imaging findings for physician interpretation
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and use of equipment for optimal image quality
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Calibrate and maintain ultrasound machines and related equipment
  • Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
  • Support a clean and organized working environment
Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as a Vascular Technologist and possess a current BLS certification. Appropriate state licensure may be required. Preferred certifications include RVT, RVS, or ARDMS National Certification with relevant experience.

  • One year of experience as a Vascular Technologist
  • BLS certification
  • RVT, RVS, or ARDMS (RDMS RVT or RDMS OB/GYN) preferred
  • State licensure (if required)

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay and Identification

Total Med Allied Job . Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend TBD.
