About this role

The Cardiac Monitoring Technician II is responsible for the interpretation and reporting of EKG data received for patients wearing company monitoring devices to assist physicians in diagnosing patients.

Work Mode

This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in the local office five days per week.

Hours
  • Holter

    Hours:

    Day shift 7:00am–5:30pm;
    Night shift 12:00pm–10:30pm (5% shift differential)
  • Event

    Hours:

    Day shift 9:00am–7:30pm;
    Night shift 9:00pm–7:30am (10% shift differential)
Your responsibilities will include
  • Process, analyze, interpret, and edit EKG data
  • Collect recordings and patient symptoms as needed
  • Facilitate activation of EMS, if indicated
  • Accurately document actions taken within patient records
  • Facilitate orders for monitors and supplies
  • Obtain patient transmissions and related symptoms
  • Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms/symptoms and communicate information to appropriate team member
  • Ensure customer enrollment is entered correctly
  • Address questions and educate patients, practices, and sales staff
  • Fax serious and critical reports to practices and hospitals as requested
  • Retain information that is job specific such as safety regulations and current policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience with a high school diploma
  • CCT or CRAT certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal EKG education, such as a certificate or third‑party certification
  • Certification options: CET (Certified EKG Technician), CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician), CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
  • Working experience in a hospital or IDTF after receiving CET or other certifications, including telemetry interpretation and communication with doctors
Additional Details
  • The position is in‑office at 1717NSam Houston Pkwy W, Houston, TX
  • Must be available to work one of the scheduled shifts and during the entire training period
  • Training lasts 6–8 weeks, daytime weekdays
Benefits offered
  • Eligible for a yearly bonus of up to 4% of yearly salary

Compensation

Minimum Salary: $39,832.00;
Maximum Salary: $67,704.00.

Compensation may include variable components such as overtime, shift differential, annual bonus, and other incentives. Salary determination is based on experience, training, education, certifications, and business needs.

Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available for this position.
