- Stay alert for all incoming prescription renewal requests and respond with lightning-fast reflexes!
- Tackle curveball requests with panache by collaborating seamlessly with our stellar pharmacists and providers!
- Proactively ensure patients can easily access their medications through scheduled appointments and refills!
- Stay on top of prior authorization requests, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain precise documentation in our EMR and Pharmacy system.
- Communicate flawlessly with both internal and external stakeholders.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential.
- 5+ years of pharmacy technician experience.
- Strong written communication skills for EMR documentation.
- Fluent verbal communication with patients and team members.
- Solid grasp of the medication prescribing process.
- Expertise in interpreting prescription orders and calculating quantities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems.
- Spanish communication skills is an extra kudos.
