Job Summary

Radiology Technician orchestrates the organization of cost‑efficient, effective patient care in a high‑volume clinical setting, supporting practice patients and preventative services. The role ensures timely delivery of health services while minimizing fragmentation.

Location & Schedule

16001 Park Ten Pl., Houston, TX, 77084
Shift: Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage patients transitioning out of the practice and those requiring disease prevention services.
  • Communicate appointment details and other information to patients via telephone, email, patient portal, or other tools.
  • Maintain radiation‑safe practices and proper sterile and septic technique for patients and required sterile fields.
  • Provide clear, thorough, and accurate documentation of all patient interactions in the electronic health record.
  • Follow organizational guidelines regarding EMR use in compliance with HIPAA and patient‑confidentiality standards.

Experience and Education
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two‑year program with an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and valid Radiology Technologist license.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent customer‑service, telephone etiquette, and interpersonal skills, including empathy, patience, compassion, courtesy, and attentiveness.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, including medical terminology.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of focus and multitasking capability.
  • Task‑oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer operations proficiency and EMR experience.
