This position is for our National Traveler Vascular Technologist, who will travel to one of our nation-wide clinics weekly. Weekly travel is required, with the ability to travel home on weekends.

Responsibilities
  • The Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following professional, technical standards and company-specific protocols to produce sonographic images and measurements that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.
  • The Vascular Technologist is responsible for the daily operation of ultrasound equipment, while maintaining a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase knowledge of venous disease.
  • The Technologist should be capable of producing diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
  • Performs all tasks necessary to provide a compassionate and caring environment, while promoting excellent patient care.
Qualifications
  • Residence must be in close proximity to a major airport
  • Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology Program (Noninvasive Vascular Study)
  • Associates Degree (preferred)
  • Vascular Registry (RVT, RVS, RPhS) preferred
  • Knowledge of venous disease and treatment preferred
  • Able to travel weekly to any of the CVR clinics (if flying, typically Sunday evening departure and weekend return; all travel expenses are covered and a daily food allowance is provided)
