- Ben Taub Outpatient Center, Salary: $23.77 - $30.31
Performs orthopedic procedures and other unit specific duties as delegated by the NM or designee. Assists licensed nursing/physician staff in the care of patients. Responsibilities include application and removal of casts and splints, set-up, maintenance and removal of traction equipment.
Minimum Qualifications- Degrees/School
Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. - Licensure/Certification: Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or EMT program is preferred. Specialty:
Certification- optional - Work Experience: No orthopedic experience is necessary. On the job orthopedic training will be provided. One (1) year experience of hospital or ambulatory experience preferred.
