Experienced School Psychologists are needed to provide dedicated support and expertise to approximately five campuses in either South or West Houston on a contract, full-time basis (37.5 hours/week).
Your experience in school settings and your Texas School Psychologist credential will empower you to make a daily impact. Ideal candidates enjoy collaborating with educators, families, and administrators, and possess an adaptable, solutions-oriented mindset.
What Youll Bring:- Active Texas School Psychologist credential/licensure (license snapshot and redacted report required)
- Prior school-based experience is essential
- Willingness to work fully on-site (possible hybrid opportunities for report writing)
- Proven reliability and a professional approach to working across multiple campuses
- Strong communication, advocacy, and case management skills
- Provide psycho educational assessments, counseling, and intervention services
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster inclusive learning environments
- Support the development, implementation, and review of IEPs and Section 504 plans
- Document and report findings effectively, maintaining clear records
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams and deliver crisis intervention as needed
The assignment runs from July 30, 2026, through May 28, 2027, serving either the South or West Houston areas, with each psychologist supporting roughly five campuses. Reliable transportation and the ability to complete fingerprinting within the first three days of contract signing are required.
