The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing clinical and administrative supervision and for engaging with participants and families by delivering direct mental health services, including individual and/or group counseling sessions, group-based workshops, and case management. The Maternal and Child Health Program intends to expand mental health resource navigation by providing access to comprehensive mental health services for individuals and families navigating the challenges of pregnancy and parenthood from pre-conception through the postpartum period.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is accountable for ensuring the delivery of equitable, client-centered services consistent with professional standards and scope of practice.

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized mental health treatment plans addressing participants’ emotional, psychological, and social needs within the Maternal and Child Health Program.
• Provide evidence-based individual and family psychotherapy to program participants, ensuring culturally responsive, client-centered care.
• Provide clinical services consistent with professional standards and scope of practice to ensure appropriate referrals and case management.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups, psycho educational sessions, and workshops supporting maternal mental health and family functioning.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation for all services, participant interactions, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with program leadership to support case consultation, continuity of care, and quality improvement activities.

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)

• At least one (1) year of experience providing direct mental health services.

• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in good standing, or be eligible for Texas licensure upon hire.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License upon hire.
