We are seeking a Patient Service Coordinator / Medical Receptionist to manage front desk operations, patient scheduling, insurance verification, and patient experience.

This position is ideal for candidates with medical front desk, patient coordinator, or healthcare customer service experience who want to grow in a clinical setting or pursue Physical Therapy, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science.

WHAT IS A PATIENT SERVICE COORDINATOR

A Patient Service Coordinator, also known as a Medical Receptionist or Patient Coordinator, is the first and last impression of the clinic.

You ensure every patient feels welcomed, supported, and taken care of from check‑in to check‑out.

  • Check patients in and create a welcoming environment
  • Manage scheduling, rescheduling, and patient flow
  • Check patients out and collect payments
  • Support patient needs, questions, and communication

You will also support new patient onboarding:

  • Schedule new patient appointments
  • Set up patient charts and medical records
  • Verify insurance benefits and coverage
  • Ensure all intake information is complete before visits

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Experience

    Required

    • 2+ years in medical office, healthcare, or front desk experience

    Preferred
