Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a Transportation/Patient Care Coordinator to provide transportation for patients to and from the facility for pre-scheduled appointments and help organize and direct patient's daily activities.
Transportation/Patient Care Coordinator PrimaryResponsibilities Include:
- Provide transportation for patients to and from the facility.
- Report all van maintenance problems to the Department Director.
- Maintain the van log, ensuring accuracy of information.
- Maintain a clean environment for patients at all times.
- Demonstrate responsibility and sound judgement regarding patient safety.
- Communicate and consult with the Department Director and other staff members regarding patient care issues and information daily.

Qualifications EducationHigh school graduate or equivalent.
ExperienceOne (1) year of transportation services experience preferred. Priority given to applicants with experience transporting patients.
LicensureMust maintain a valid as required for transportation of patients.
CertificationsSuccessful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
