Transportation/Patient Care Coordinator

Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a Transportation/Patient Care Coordinator to provide transportation for patients to and from the facility for pre-scheduled appointments and help organize and direct patient's daily activities. Primary responsibilities include providing transportation for patients, reporting all van maintenance problems, maintaining the van log, ensuring a clean environment for patients, demonstrating responsibility and sound judgment regarding patient safety, and communicating with the Department Director and other staff members regarding patient care issues and information daily.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience:

One (1) year of transportation services experience preferred. Priority given to applicants with experience transporting patients. Licensure:
Must maintain a valid as required for transportation of patients.

Certifications:

Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
