Job Title: Orthopedic Technician, Sr

Location: Kirby and Main Campus

Contract Length: Varies (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Job Summary: The Orthopedic Technician, Sr will provide exceptional customer service and assist the patient care team by applying casts, splints, and performing basic hardware maintenance during scheduled clinic visits or emergency center visits. Responsibilities include managing clinic supplies, educating families on cast maintenance and skin care, and ensuring timely communication with the orthopedic team. The role requires proficiency in documentation, interpersonal skills, and time management.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of experience in basic casting, splinting, and hardware maintenance
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques, orthopedic instrumentation, hardware, equipment, and procedures
• Familiarity with pediatric development stages and related medical terminology
• Proficiency in operating personal computers and clinic/patient care equipment
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pediatric experience
• Bilingual in Spanish/English

Additional Information:

• Pay range: $16/hr - $24/hr
