Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join a respected healthcare organization in the Clear Lake area. This position is ideal for an experienced sonographer who can work independently, deliver excellent patient care, and support both routine and advanced echocardiography procedures.

• Independently perform a variety of diagnostic echocardiography procedures
• Assist physicians with routine and advanced echocardiography procedures
• Produce high-quality diagnostic studies in accordance with established standards and guidelines
• Provide compassionate, professional care throughout the patient experience
• Maintain patient safety and accuracy during all examinations
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical team
• Help train and mentor students, fellows, and newly hired team members

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program
• At least three years of echocardiography experience
• Ability to perform diagnostic studies independently
• Strong patient-care and communication skills
• Commitment to accuracy, safety, and excellent service
• Comfortable supporting the development of students and less-experienced sonographers

Candidates performing pediatric echocardiography must hold one of the following:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) through ARDMS
• Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) through CCI
