Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator

Location: Spring, TX

Organization: Community Clinical Trials, a community oncology clinical research site within Genesis Medical Group

Type: Full-time

Community Clinical Trials is a community oncology research site with a health equity mission, bringing clinical trial access to oncology patients in the greater Houston area who otherwise wouldn't have it. We're a small, hands‑on team working directly with our Principal Investigators, not a large institutional research office. You'll have real ownership over your studies from startup through closeout.

What You’ll Do Study Coordination
  • Work directly with the PI and Staff Manager to plan and execute oncology clinical trials
  • Coordinate participant recruitment, enrollment, and retention
  • Schedule and manage participant visits and study procedures
Participant Management
  • Screen and consent participants; ensure understanding of study procedures
  • Support participants throughout the study and coordinate follow‑up visits
Data & Regulatory
  • Enter and maintain accurate study data in CRIO (our CTMS)
  • Assist with IRB submissions and maintain regulatory files
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with GCP guidelines
Communication
  • Serve as the point of contact between sponsors, PI, and participants
  • Flag and help resolve study‑related issues as they come up
What We’re Looking For
  • Prior experience as a research coordinator in oncology clinical trials (required)
  • Working knowledge of GCP and clinical research regulations
  • Comfort with EDC systems (Medidata, Veeva Vault experience a plus)
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, you’ll be managing multiple active protocols
Good to Know
  • Occasional evening/weekend availability may be needed around participant visit windows
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Travel 45% of the time required
