Group Home Manager

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience providing services to people with intellectual disabilities or related conditions.
• Minimum 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certified.
• Behavioral Management and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certified.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass background checks.
• Not the guardian or spouse of the individual served in the HCS program.

• Demonstrated competence in CPR, First Aid, Behavioral Management, and CPI.
• Familiarity with Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) regulations and documentation requirements for service delivery.
• Knowledge of Texas Administrative Code Title 26 Part 1 Chapter 553 or similar.

• Plan and provide services for individuals with IDD or related conditions.
• Manage staffing schedules.
• Ensure client safety and provide active treatment per the client’s Individual Plan of Care (IPC).
• Maintain compliance with Texas HHS regulations and documentation requirements.
• Additional hiring requirements will be discussed during interview.
