Surgical Tech - Float Pool

Role:

Surgical Technician II, collaborating with Registered Nurses to provide patient care in the OR suite.

• Prepare surgical instruments for procedures
• Scrub in on surgeries to assist surgeons and prepare instruments
• Assist with room turnover and instrument decontamination
• Contribute to the orientation of new surgical technicians
• Support staffing needs for the Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Provide care across various age groups:
  Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric

• Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 3+ years surgical technician experience
• Proficiency in advanced surgical skills and knowledge of at least one specialty
• Basic computer skills

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Experience in ambulatory surgery centers or hospitals
• Experience in multi-specialty services
