Position responsible for answering telephones and greeting/assisting customers and visitors.

Mondays & Tuesdays 5:30 am - 2:00 pm

Saturdays & Sundays 8:00 am - 8:30 pm

Prefer candidates with strong customer service skills

This position is located at Greater Heights Hospital.

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Licenses/Certifications:

(None)

Experience / Knowledge /

Skills:

  • Six (6) months customer service experience
  • Pleasant phone etiquette
  • Ability to type 40 wpm
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Demonstrates commitment to the Partners-in-Caring process by integrating our culture in all internal and external customer interactions; delivers on our brand promise of "we advance health" through innovation, accountability, empowerment, collaboration, compassion and results while ensuring one Memorial Hermann

Principal Accountabilities

  • Greets customers and visitors and escort to desired location.
  • Answers departmental telephones, screening and directing calls appropriately.
  • Performs basic clerical duties as necessary: typing, filing, distributing mail; photocopying, etc.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, adhering to policies, procedures, and standards, within budgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity, and accuracy of practice.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
